We provide a full range of tax preparation services for individuals and small businesses. In addition to federal tax return preparation, we are able to prepare individual returns for every state that has an income tax. Electronic filing services are available for federal and Massachusetts tax returns.

Our bookkeeping services include posting transactions from your records, reviewing and adjusting transactions you've recorded, maintaining a General Ledger of transactions, Financial Statement preparation, Bank Reconciliations, Payroll Processing, and more. Child Care Tax Issues
Family Child Care providers have a special set of tax laws written specifically for them. Most tax preparers are not aware of this and process the tax returns in the same manner as for any other home-based business. As a result, the tax you pay may be hundreds of dollars more than it should be! Rizzo & Restuccia is one of the few tax preparation firms that specialize in Family Child Care tax issues. Sacco, EA regularly gives seminars to area child care provider groups teaching them effective, tax-saving recordkeeping procedures. Seminars
Our associate, Stephen L. Sacco, EA is a former accounting and business instructor at a local college. He currently provides seminars and workshops on a variety of tax and business topics to Small Business Development Centers and Child Care Provider Groups. Recently, Steve was one of the featured speakers in a series of televised seminars sponsored by Quincy 2000.

IRS Audit Representation
As Certified Public Accountants, we are licensed to represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. When we represent you, you will not have to go to the IRS office or even talk to an IRS agent or officer. We will represent you and assist you in preparing for audits and appeals conferences. We also provide expert counseling on technical tax issues, penalty assessments and negotiations to resolve payment of tax deficiencies.

Tax Problem Solving Plan
To go along with our tax preparation services, we offer a unique service that we call our prepaid IRS Problem Solving Plan. This optional service has become very popular with our clients. Plan subscribers receive free representation if they ever have a problem with the IRS or Massachusetts DOR related to the insured tax year. The Plan only covers the fees for our professional services; you would still be responsible for any additional taxes, penalties or interest charged by the IRS or the state.
